QueensWay

QueensWay is a community-led effort to turn 3.5 miles of abandoned rail tracks in Central Queens into a linear park for pedestrians, much like the High Line in Manhattan. In 2022, the City made a $35 million investment to build the first phase of the plan, creating excitement for locals who have worked together for over a decade to create more green space for the community.
